59/365: You Got TC Bear Out?!?!?

My husband today got to play in the Crispin Ice Ball game. He was the first baseman a position that he loves to play. However, today, as he was playing he got TC Bear out. Now as a huge lover of the Minnesota Twins couldn't you give the poor bear some slack?

The game ended in a tie and I was thankful that no one wanted to go into extra innings, as I was FREEZING. It took a while to thaw out seeing that it was only 15-ish degrees during game time with the windchill hovering around 0. Soon the real base ball season will be upon us and I will be wishing for cool days.

58/365: Not So Fast

These are my mittens. I LOVE them so much that I own two pairs (okay
one mysteriously went missing then showed up after pair two was
bought). Seeing that February is coming to an end, I hope March can
usher in spring. I am excited to start biking and maybe (gasp!) running.

57/365: Snow Day?

Not today. Maybe tomorrow? In any case I am going to unearth my
driveway for the third time before getting anywhere. Mr. Plow driver
if you read this blog please do not push more snow into my driveway.

The wind is coming towards my back as I braved the picture as it was
too hard to stand facing the north wind.

56/365: It's Base Ball in February

E loves vintage base ball (yes it is two words). This weekend he is
playing at Midway stadium for the Crispen Ice Ball. He is excited to
get back into the base ball season.

55/365: Watching The Future

Today I was back at the oval to watch A & B skate in their year-end Novice Race. I snapped this picture of their cheering section as B was lining up for his first race. In the picture (from left to right) my poppie, my friend C (the one with the camera), DB, DB's Mom, and DB's dad. Tomorrow will be, most likely, my last day on the ice and I am sad to see the season to come to an end.

54/365: A Visit From The Fairy

The laundry fairy visited me today. It amazed me how much laundry we
generated during our long weekend away. However, 2 more loads left
before I can send the laundry fairy to the next lucky recipient.

53/365: Joe

Meet Joe, Joe is the President of Greater Minnesota Speedskating Association. This weekend he was up at the North American and U.S. National Long Track Marathon, after skating the 25k on Saturday, he came out as well to cheer during the 50k race. I snapped this picture of him as he excitingly was ringing the bell for a skater's final lap. After I did so, I told him I was going to put it on the Internet. :)

Also Joe and the rest of the people at the marathon thanks for cheering me on during my 25k race yesterday. It made the race fun and exciting.

52/365: Two Medals

Today I skated in the 25k National Long Track Marathon. I defended my
senior title, which was exciting as I called my race the battle of the
best friends as C was skating as well. Well, time to put on bandages
and head to bed as there is another race tomorrow.

51/365: My Lucky Socks!

I kid you not. These are my lucky socks. On the sock it even says so.
Tomorrow is the big day, I was on the ice for a bit today and I am
ready! No fears my socks will be on.

50/365: We Have Arrived

We have made it! Our first stop... the oval. The ice looks amazing and
I am so thrilled to be here.

49/365: Please do Not Take my Luggage!

If you are curious and tempted to take my luggage. Stay away from this
bag! While there is not some exotic clothing buried within the bag. I
figured that a speedskating skin suit would really scare off any
potential thieves. Plus how would the look? The sight just gives me
the creeps!

This weekend I am heading to Nationals. I am in the midst of a packing
frenzy before we leave tomorrow.

48/365: Vintage Footage

My grandfather used to make home movies. As I was watching the videos
a bit of vintage speedskating caught my eye. So I asked my parents if
they would lend me the DVDs (which they were converted to a few years
ago) so I could watch these.

47/365: Mr. Potato Head Comes to Our House

Little Miss T came to hang out with E and I today. We got her a Mr.
Potato Head for Christmas, so we spent time perfecting the art of
building Mr. Potato Head. Now if we can figure out how to get his
bucket of parts back into his bucket.

46/365: Cookie Bouquet

My mother-in-law sent this over as a valentine day gift. In the center
was this cookie, now if I can remember this come Saturday.

45/365: My Hubby LOVES Me!

Whoa! My husband sent me flowers and did not send me the same card
like he did in previous years. He is romantic, now it is time to
recover from shock.

44/365: Louie

As hard as I tried my favorite dog would not let me take his picture,
actually it kept turning red. But that's okay, as I snapped a picture
of his owner and him. Wonder if anyone would notice if he came and
stayed at my house (I can hear the shrieks of A now).

43/365: Oh How I'd Love It.

Five years ago E and I went to Norway. How I wish we would go back.
Except this time, I will be prepared to eat hot dogs and pay ungodly
amounts for pop (soda).

42/365: I Am Exhausted

Heading to bed already... Yes, after a long day at work and then 90
minutes on the ice. I am tired.

41/365: Tonight's Special

Dinner from tonight. It was amazing to walk in the house and be with
those smells. And bonus there are left overs for lunch.

40/365: One Snowglobe

This is one of my snowglobes. It has one of my favorite quotes: Sing
like you know the words, dance like no one is watching, and love like
it is never going to hurt.

39/365: My Favorite Slippers

These are my favorite slippers. They are well loved and actually
served a role as my something blue at my wedding.

38/365: One More Year

My hubby took me past new Target Field. One more year at the Metrodome
but no frets are coming from us we love baseball. And we are simply
counting the days until opener.

Yeah it is Friday. I am not sure what possesses people to give massage
tools as gifts but whatever. Actually, it got me thinking that I
should go see a professional before the marathon which is in 2 weeks!

My box has arrived from Jen. YEAH! Inside there were some neat gifts.
I have to admit the black heel shoe door stop is the best. Thanks Jen!

35/365: Puppy Hint

I think E wants a puppy. As he is leaving some not so suttle hints
around the house. The only problem. I do not want that puppy. I want a
husky. So I guess the debate continues.

34/365: Flying Puppy

E decided to put the stuffed puppy on the bed post. I am not sure if
it is to guard the bedroom or what. But it was too cute to pass up.
