90/365: Coffee

Today before skating DB and I went to Dunn Bros. for coffee. This
coffee grinder caught my eye, as it looked like a train locomotive.

89/365: Is Winter Over?

Today I took my ice blades off and replaced it with my inline wheels,
to start summer season. Except it is suppose to snow tomorrow.

88/365: Nothing Better

I love Coca Cola and in a bottle... It is the best.

87/365: Thank You Marian

Thank you Marian for
... Enjoying ice cream with me, S, N, and K on hot summer days.
... Eating pizza with us when the family got together.
... Loving Famous Daves, the Lake Elmo Inn, and the Lowell Inn.
... Congratulating me on my engagment before I had even said the words
to tell you that I was.
... Being my honorary Grandma at my wedding.
... Talking with E about the Twins.

I could continue this list as there is so much to thank you for. So I
want to finish by saying, "Love you and you will be missed."

86/365: Wrong Shoes

Poppie... Did you forget your black shoes?

85/365: 30 Minutes or Less

Obviously your pizza is not going to be delivered on time. Yes that
would be the pizza delivery man pulled over by a cop.

84/365: Musically Challenged

E got us a Rock Band 2 set up for our xBox. Let me tell you I have a
long way to go before mastering the drums.

83/365: God's Newest Angel

This picture was taken at my wedding. It is of me and my honorary
grandmother for the day Marian. This morning Marian went on to heaven.
I miss her terribly, her spunk, her love of life, and her willingness
to be my 'grandma'.

82/365: McDuff

This is my cousin's dog McDuff. We hung out with them tonight. McDuff
provided entertainment as him and E went on an extended 'sprint'.

81/365: Peanuts Galore!

Today we went to the Texas Roadhouse to celebrate my parents
anniversary. My poppie was in 7th heaven with the peanuts.

80/365: A Gift From Ben

Ben is my husband's friend and I jokingly call him my jewler. Today he
brought us fresh bananas. I am still twisting Ben's arm to make me a
new piece (namely a snake to go around my upper arm).

79/365: Not Advocating

When car designers made bigger cup holders, I bet this is not what
they invisioned. E and I are heading to a birthday party tonight. We
decided to bring wine (because we have a wall of it) for the guest of
honor.

78/365: A Real Betty Crocker

Tonight I made peanut butter cookies for E (these are his favorite).
However, I can see my poppie now saying, "What about me?" Well,
poppie, instead of you getting a batch of peanut butter cookies, you
instead get an incredible wife of 32 years.

So Happy Anniversary to my mum who taught me the love of cooking and
poppie who taught me there is no other cookie than a peanut butter one.

Oh and btw, I will make you a batch poppie unless mum makes you a
batch first.

77/365: I Think I Married a Teenage Girl

Hi hunny! Smile you are my picture for today. Kind of curious, how
long will you be on the phone?

76/365: Eight Years Ago

Whoa! I did not realize it has been eight years since I was living in
England. I kept a journal of my time there and saved several of my
tickets from different shows and events I attended.

Below is my ticket from the St. Patrick's day concert I attended. The
concert highlighted Vivaldi's Four Seasons and then some of the most
moving Irish songs. Hearing Danny Boy sent shivers down my spine.

I am not sure if you can read the journal or not. But on page two,
admist my homesickness, I wrote, "you never know how much you friends
mean to you until you can't talk with them or can't see them. And you
never realize true love until you hear the sad voice on the other side
of the phone." Looking back, I am so glad I went, I was able to do so
much and experience so many things I never thought possible.

Happy St. Patrick's Day to all. May the luck of the Irish always be
with you.

75/365: Sunny Days Are Coming

We have had three gorgeous days. Enough for the perfect afternoon
walks. The snow is almost all gone and soon the flowers will bloom.

74/365: You Can Come To My House

I am in love with the idea of a ceiling fan. In fact it is on my
birthday wishlist. Weird I know, but since no one can supply me with a
real live laundry fairy, this will have to do.

73/365: Are You Serious?

So today I was leaving a store and these screaming mothers caught my
attention. Here they were selling Girl Scout cookies on the road
exiting the outlet mall. Foolish place if you ask me, as some cars
were stopping to buy cookies and causing a traffic backup.

72/365: 85 Lottery Tickets

Today is E's grandma's 85th birthday. For a gift my father in law
bought her 85 lottery tickets. I had to take this picture of her
starting her quest to uncover all of her lottery tickets.

71/365: Sad Sight

After 145 years in business a family furniture is closing their doors.
I went there today in hopes of finding things for our home. Now it is
time to bring E to try out the bed of choice. This however was a
sectional I found for a friend, I liked the color and the sleek modern
look.

70/365: The Rollerdome

For quite sometime the metrodome has been the winter home of the
inline skaters. Since I am an ice speedskater I do not have the
opportunity to skate in the 'rollerdome'. However, since I cannot
start biking I put on my inline skates and went skating. What a change
from being outside to 75•F.

Only 7 1/2 months left until the ice comes back. But no one is
counting are they?

69/365: Ice Storm

Well, the house sounds like it is going to take off due to the wind.
Our driveway and road is covered in ice. Oh spring please come.

68/365: My Prom Dress

Today would be Babushka's birthday. This is my prom dress that she
made for me my junior year. For old time's sake I unsucessfully
attempted to put it on, in an effort to show E.

67/365: Come Back Please!

Dear Mr. Dishwashing Fairy,

Please come back to my house and start working again. I am sure E is
as annoyed as I am by having to do the dishes by hand. When you do
return we promise to be nice to you, even though you were the one to
cause the problem. Oh wait, we are going to start a positive
relationship.

Sincerley,
L & E

65/365: Cooper Boys!

I love watching my favorite boys basketball team play. Even though I
no longer work with their head coach I thought I would go to at least
one game. On a more fun note, my coworker was the referee tonight, I
will be interested to here his take on tonight's game.

64/365: My Favorite Pic

Here is me and my hubby (E). This is my favorite picture and even
though it looks like I am taking a swing at him, I am not. E was not
happy to be photographed so I pretend boxed with him. The photographer
snapped the picture and it has become my favorite and a conversation
piece.

63/365: No Cake Batter For You

This is for ER who is DB's niece who is living in Norway at the
moment. Last summer I introduced her to Cake Batter ice cream she
became a huge fan.

I stuck with strawberry seeing that there was no lemon sorbet.

62/365: Bad Girls!

I think the Girl Scouts plotted to end my New Year resolutions. Or for
those of us who are Catholic, our Lenten promise not to eat
chocolates, sweets... You get my point right? :)

61/365: No Soup For You

Today my poppie took me to my favorite place to eat: Keys. I love this
place so much that I had my wedding cake made from there, much to the
delight of our guests.

60/365: A Day With iMovie

Today I worked on my video about my speedskating season. Soon it will
be finished and shared.
